Atlehang Bokaba is a research intern in the Office for International Affairs at the University of the Free State, South Africa. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Political Science and History, from the University of the Free State. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts Honours in History at the same institution. She has served as chairperson of the student representative committee in the Faculty of The Humanities. She is a philanthropist at heart who has served in her spare time with non-profit organisations that advocate for women’s empowerment and the eradication of drug and alcohol abuse in her community. She has been recognised and received the following awards from the UFS: the Student Affairs Leadership Award, the Academic Excellence Award in Sociology, and the Best EMS Tutor Award. She is the Research Assistant for the University of the Free State for this project.
